Garden of Hope Permaculture Center, located inside the Finca Azotea in Jocotenango, is our demonstration site. We host a variety of activities onsite including school fieldtrips, family days, and a diverse selection of workshops. The Center is available to rent for special occasions where a garden works best.
In addition, we work offsite in surrounding schools and communities upon request.
We are inclusive, accessible by wheelchair, and happy to work with interpreters to communicate across languages.
School Fieldtrips: We build customized fieldtrips to meet the needs of your school, organization or group.
Workshops: We provide private group workshops for all ages. A sample of our topics includes an introduction to permaculture, companion planting, composting, medicinal plant use, and DIY natural skin care products (in collaboration with Tierra y Lava).
* If you are a producer of natural products and are interested in co-hosting a workshop with us, let us know!
Garden Builds: We provide one time consultations, edible garden designs, garden builds, and long term logistical plans and curriculum for school and community gardens.
Compost Consultations: Composting can sound complicated, but we’ll show you how simple it is. We provide one-time and ongoing consults and trainings for kitchen and maintenance teams.
Come pick your own or contact us for our delivery schedule. With regularly weekly orders, we’ll pick up your fruit and veggie scraps.
